The Deputy Commandant of CRPF Indrajit Singh, who was among the three dead, hailed from Maner block of Patna district.

The CM repeated that the telecast of the clipping of an injured CRPF personnel crying for immediate medical help was a case of mistaken identity as the soldier shown in TV clippings was injured and being treated at Apollo hospital in Ranchi.

On the remark of his former Deputy and senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi questioning why the state government did not provide helicopter to rush CRPF personnel to hospitals, he said the state government's helicopter was very much available for such occasion and he and other JD (U) leaders are using helicopters hired by party for campaigning and not those of state government.
