Hrishikesh: A man-eater tigress, which had attacked and killed six persons at places along the Uttar Pradesh border, has returned to its habitat in Corbett Tiger Reserve, officials said yesterday.
“The tigress is roaming around in the Jhirna range of the park and nearby jungles,” Corbett Tiger Reserve Warden Satish Chandra Upadhyay said here.
He said the tigress had strayed from the reserve.
Upadhyay said the movements of the big cat were being monitored, though there was no report of any attack by the animal in the recent past.
