Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah yesterday greeted people on the occasion of Makar Sankranti and Lohri.
In his message, the Governor said that the two festivals are a tribute to the bounties of nature and mark the change in weather moving towards Spring.
The Governor prayed for the well-being and happiness of the people and hoped that the festivals will bring sustained peace and prosperity in the state.
Omar, in his message, wished people well-being and prosperity and prayed for peace and development in the state and the country.
