Ahead of polls, Akhilesh transfers 53 IAS officers including 28 DMs

Lucknow: In a mass scale transfer of 53 IAS officers including 28 district magistrates today, the Akhilesh Yadav government brought in its own loyal officers in key positions in the state bureaucracy.Following are the transfers: Ajay Kumar Singh, DM Saharanpur has been appointed Divisional Commissioner, Mirzapur replacing Shambhunath Shukla, who has been appointed principal secretary, administrative reforms.Ms Sandhya Tiwari, DM Firozabad has been appointed DM Saharanpur, while Vimal Kumar Sharma, Joint Housing Commissioner, Meerut has been appointed DM, Firozabad. Arvind Kumar Dwivedi, secretary, health and family planning has been appointed Div Commissioner, Basti, while Sanjay Prasad, Div Commissioner, Faizabad has been appointed secretary, Home. Vipin Kumar Dwivedi, DM Faizabad has been appointed Div Commissioner Faizabad, while Indravir Singh Yadav, DM Sant Kabirnagar has been appointed DM Faizabad. Bharat Lal Rai, special secretary, Panchayati Raj, has been appointed DM Sant Kabirnagar, while Samir Verma, DM Kanpur City has been appointed special secretary, Panchayati Raj. Dr Roshan Jacob, DM Gonda has been appointed DM Kanpur city, while Amrit Tripathi, DM Baghpat has been appointed special secretary, Agricultural Production. Ajay Deep Singh, DM Bijnore has been appointed DM Baghpat. Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, DM Banda, has been shifted as DM Bijnore, while Satyendra Kumar Singh, vice chairman, Meerut Development Authority has been appointed DM, Banda. Ms Soumya Agrawal, DM, Maharajganj has been shifted as special secretary, technical education, while Sharad Kumar Singh, special secretary, Horticulture takes over her place as DM Maharajganj. Rajiv Rautela, Dm Aligarh goes as special secretary, Horticulture, while Ajay Kumar Shukla, special secretary, PWD is now the new DM, Aligarh. Ms. Kumudlata Srivastava, DM Mau has been shifted as special secretary, PWD. Murli Manohar Lal, special secretary, Higher Education, has been appointed DM Mau, while Gauri Shankar Priyadarshi, DM Bulandshahar goes as special secretary, Agriculture Production. Ms Nidhi Kesarwani, Special secretary, Higher Education is now the new DM of Bulandshahr. Navdeep Rinwa, DM Meerut has been shunted as special secretary, higher education, while Pankaj Yadav special secretary, commercial tax, takes his place as DM Meerut.
