It was the construction of one such observation post close to the LoC that  resulted in Pakistani troops first carrying out firing, and then stealthily entering and brutally killing Indian army jawans, while taking away the head of one of them.
 
Pakistan had created the right scenario for the attack days before by alleging that Indian soldiers violated the LoC killing one of their soldiers.
 
According to a senior army officer, infiltration attempts have beenon the rise as Pakistan is trying its best to disturb the current peaceful scenario in Kashmir.
