According to reports Tiwari committed his first cyber crime in 2002-03, when he hacked into Mumbai-based credit card processing company, C C Avenue, and defrauded it of Rs 9 lakh.
However, the law caught up with Tiwari and he was arrested for defrauding C C Avenue during his second year of the engineering course. Tiwari remained in police custody for a very short duration.
