Know more about India's Most Wanted Abdul Karim Tunda

New Delhi: Born in the early 40s, one of India's most wanted terrorists, Syed Abdul Karim alias Abdul Karim Tunda, accused of masterminding over 40 bombings in the country, has been arrested by Delhi Police.



In 1985 he joined an Islamic organization, ‘Tanzim Islah-ul-Muslimeen' – ‘Islamic armed organization'. One of their associates - Jalees Ansari, set off a series of 43 explosions in Mumbai and Hyderabad and seven separate bomb blasts on trains in 1993.





As the result of the 1993 attack Abdul-Karim Tunda and the ‘Tanzim Islah-ul-Muslimeen' came under police scanner.  

In 1994 Tunda escaped to Dhaka after Jalees Ansari' arrest.  He came under direct command of Zaki-ur-Rehman. Abdul-Karim Tunda became an Indian fugitive since then.
