New Delhi: After a farmer from Rajasthan's Dausa hanged himself at the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) rally against Land Bill here at Jantar Mantar, the Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal, visited the RML Hospital to see the victim and rued the fact that police was not under his control.
However, while speaking to IndiaTV Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP from Punjab Dharamvir Gandhi has opined that there should no politics over this issue.
He also said that the Kisan rally should have been discontinued and turned in to Prayer meet as a mark of respect for the farmer. The AAP leader also said that the incident at the Jantar Mantar reflects the real picture of the farmers in the country who are facing a lot of problems and are bound to take such extreme steps.
Gandhi also said that AAP is concerned with the poor state of farmers in the country and will look forward to raise their issues on the proper platform. He further added that he personally felt sorry for not acting in a proper way during that moment.
