New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal who is having a tough time after his party MLAs were found involved in the alleged fake degree row and other controversies has a word of advice from his one time mentor and social activist Anna Hazare.
Anna Hazare while speaking to IndiaTV today has suggested that Arvind has been elected by the common people of Delhi with the hope of ensuring good governance.
He said “Kejriwal should not make this a personal issue” when asked about the ongoing tussle with the Delhi's Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung and the Central government.
Anna said “There should be a clear distinction between the power available to the union and the state government''.
The social activist also regretted the fake degree row involving former Delhi law minister JS Tomar. Anna said “ Arvind should have investigated before making Tomar a minister in the Delhi cabinet”, “One should not be made a minister just because he speaks well and a proper enquiry should have taken place”, he added.
The activist however said that Kejrwal singlehandedly cannot handle all affairs of the party but should try to remain more vigilant against such corrupt people coming into the party.
