Judges visit temples wearing traditional dress after Madras HC prescribes dress code
Dindigul: Days after the Madras High Court prescribed dress code for those visiting the temples in the state from effect from January one next year, two judges of High Court has visited Sri Soundararaja Perumal
Dindigul: Days after the Madras High Court prescribed dress code for those visiting the temples in the state from effect from January one next year, two judges of High Court has visited Sri Soundararaja Perumal Swamy temple at Thadikombu in this district in traditional attire.
Justices N Kirubakaran and S Vaidhyanathan and Registrar (Administration) Ilavazhagan came to the temple wearing the dress as per the code prescribed by the High court. While Justice Kirubakaran and Ilavazhagan wore dhoti, Justice Vaidhyanathan was wearing kurta and pyjama.
The Judges visited Kottaiyur Mariamman temple and Kuchanur Saneeswaran temple also. The High Courta had recently prescribed dress code for those visiting the temples so that the spiritual atmosphere of the temple was not affected in any way.
