Jaipur, May 5: Freedom fighter and veteran journalist B M Banthia died at a hospital in Kota after a prolonged illness, family sources said yesterday.Banthia, who was in his late 80s, had been admitted to a private hospital for past several days. He passed away last night.Governor Margaret Alva and Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot condoled the death of Banthia.His mortal remains were cremated yesterday in Kota.
