New Delhi: The results of the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union elections will be declared on Sunday.
Counting of votes cast began Friday soon after the polling ended.
The Students' Federation of India, the All India Students' Association and Democratic Students' Federation are the major players in the polls.
The National Students Union of India and the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad have also fielded their candidates.
There are eight candidates for president, five for vice president, six for general secretary and three for joint secretary.
Around 56 percent of the students had cast their votes.
