New Delhi: A group of students from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has written a letter to Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha saying that they will gather outside the latter's office located at Mandir Marg on February 14 to take up their offer of getting any couple in love married.
The letter said that the group, which will be made up of couples from different profiles, will reach the venue early morning.
The group will comprise gay lovers, Dalit boys and girls with upper-caste lovers and of course Hindu-Muslim lovers.
The Mahasabha is against ‘western practices' on Valentine's Day. The outfit had last week declared that it would get all couples, who professed their love in public, married off.
A student said that they see the Mahasabha's diktat as a wonderful opportunity and thus want to help the right-wing group to execute it easily.
Students have asked all lovers to come in ‘colourful wedding' attire on February 14.
On the other hand, president of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, Chandra Prakash Kaushik, said that they will indeed get everyone married irrespective of religion, caste or gender.
