Ranchi: The Narendra Modi magic weaved itself into Jharkhand with BJP winning 12 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats with UPA ally JMM managing to bag only two seats.
JMM supremo Shibu Soren won the Dumka seat defeating BJP's Sunil Soren by 39,030 votes and pushed former Chief Minister and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) president Babulal Marandi to the third position.
JMM's Vijay Kumar Hansdak also won from Raj Mahal constituency by 41,337 votes over BJP's Hemlal Murmu.
BJP had won 13 seats in 1998 and 12 in 1999.
BJP's Sunil Kumar Singh won Chatra seat, beating his nearest Congress rival Dhiraj Prasad Sahu by 1,78,026 votes, Returning Officer Amit Kumar said.
