Latehar (Jharkhand): Nineteen coal-laden wagons of a goods train derailed between Richuguta and Demu railway stations in Latehar district in the wee hours today, disrupting train services.
Senior railway officials reached the spot to supervise clearing of debris, a railway official said. While traffic has been resumed on the down line, the work is going on the up line.
Ajay Kumar, an assistant engineer with the railway department, said the cause of the mishap could be ascertained only after investigation.
