J&K: One dead after terrorists attack newly-established wine shop in Baramulla

The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital and details about their condition are awaited.

A newly established wine shop was attacked by terrorists in J&K's Baramulla district. At least 4 people were injured in the incident, out of whom one succumbed to his injuries.

An unidentified terrorist disguised as a buyer, hurled a grenade inside a newly opened wine shop at Dewan Bagh, Baramulla. One of the injured was declared dead when rushed to the hospital.

The terrorists lobbed the grenade towards the wine shop at the court road around 8.30 pm. They said the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment where one of them succumbed.

A police spokesman said all the four were employees of the shop and hailed from the Jammu division.

"Terrorists lobbed a hand grenade inside a newly opened wine shop in Baramulla. O4 employees got injured. One among them succumbed to his injuries. All are from Jammu division. Area cordoned and search started to nab culprits," the spokesman tweeted.
