Two civilians and two police officials were killed in a suspected terrorists attack on Saturday in Sopore town of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, the terrorists opened fire on a joint team of police and CRPF, when the team was been deployed.
J&K DGP Dilbagh Singh told IndiaTV two civilians and two policemen killed in the attack, three jawans Injured. LeT role suspected behind the attack, he added.
National Conference leader Omar Abdullah condemned the militant attack on security forces. Abdullah tweeted, "Terrible news coming in from Sopore. Such attacks must be condemned without reservation. Prayers for the injured & condolences to the families of the deceased."
