Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government today carried out a reshuffle in the police department transferring 10 IPS officers, including some district police chiefs.
ADGP and Special Director (Vigilance Establishment) Mahendra Modi has been transferred to the civil defence department, an official spokesman said.
DIG Prison (Meerut) Asit Kumar Panda and DIG Police Training School (Moradabad) Raghuveer Lal have swapped places, he said.
DIG PAC Headquarters (Lucknow) Satyendra Veer Singh has been shifted to the prison department, the spokesman said. Manoj Tiwari, attached with the DGP office, has been posted as SP Auraiya while SP Law and Order (Headquarters) Subhash Singh Baghel will take over as SP Shamli. Commandant 11 PAC Balikaran Singh Yadav has been transferred as SP Pratapgarh replacing Anant Dev who has been posted as SSP Bulandshahr.
SP Auraiya Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia has been appointed SP Anti-Terror squad.
SP Shamli Pawan Kumar has been transferred to the vigilance establishment in the same capacity, the spokesman said.
