Amritsar: A joint Indo-Pak judicial commission consisting of two Pakistani and one Indian judge on Saturday met Pakistani prisoners lodged in Amritsar Central Security Jail and interacted with them.
They met especially those prisoners, who have completed their jail terms and are awaiting repatriation
Former Pakistani judge Mian Mohammad Ajmal said, keeping prisoners in jail after completion of jail terms was illegal detention.
He said, sometimes mentally deranged prisoners were unable to give their correct address and this caused problems in their identification and delayed repatriation process
