New Delhi, Nov 30: An Indica car (DL1Y B 5382) was found abandoned near Delhi's high-security North Block at around 3 am early today throwing the security apparatus into a tizzy.
The car was later towed away to Parliament Street police station and the owner is being traced, sources said.
Officials said, this appeared to be a major security flaw, as the North Block housing India's Home Ministry and several other key offices, is guarded round-the-clock and cars without official stickers are not allowed to be parked near the building.
Delhi Police officials are trying to find out who allowed the Indica car to be stationed near North Block without any valid permission.
