The Indian Army has denied reports of 'pinpoint strike' on suspected terror launchpads inside Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). "Reports of Indian Army's action in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) across the Line of Control are fake," news agency ANI quoted Indian Army Director General of Military Operations Lieutenant General Paramjit Singh, as saying.
The Army's denial came after reports claimed that India has initiated action on terror launchpads based in PoK.
Last week, Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling in several areas along the LoC in north Kashmir killing five security personnel apart from at least four civilians.
The Indian Army mounted a major retaliation pounding several Pakistani positions with anti-tank guided missiles and artillery guns in which at least 11 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 12 others injured.
