Kupwara(J&K): The Army on Saturday claimed to have recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunitions after they busted a hideout near Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of north Kashmir's Kupwara district.

A senior defence official said that this was an attempt of intrusion to carry out a terror attack before New Year Eve.

He said that a total of 40 weapons including 20 AK 47 Rifles and 20 pistols were recovered from the spot.
