New Delhi: The "Yudh Abhyas 2014", a combined India-US military training exercise will start from today, a Defence Ministry statement said.
The "Yudh Abhyas 2014", the training exercise will continue till September 30.
Indian troops and their US counterparts will hone their skills in the exercise which is the 10th in the series of combined military training exercises between the two countries.
"The training exercise will be conducted in the foothills of the Himalayas in Uttarakhand under the aegis of Garud Division and Surya Command," the statement said.
This is part of the ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries.
This exercise will also strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries.
