Sriharikota(AP): India will launch its ambitious space mission to Mars next week after it got delayed due to bad weather in the Pacific Ocean.
The unmanned spacecraft would orbit the red planet, after being blasting off from the country's southeastern coast at Sriharikota in a mission expected to cost about $83 million.
Earlier, the satellite was scheduled to be launched on October 28.
This first Indian mission to Mars is aimed to develop the technologies required for design, planning, management and operations of an interplanetary mission.
