India hopeful of expeditious trial of 26/11 after US-Pak talks

New Delhi: India today said it was hopeful of an expeditious trial in Pakistan against those involved in the 26/11 terror attack and action against LeT founder Hafiz Saeed after the US grilled Islamabad over

Saeed, accused by India of masterminding the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks that killed 166 people, including six Americans, is the chief of Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) and founder of terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba.



Asked about the current location of Dawood Ibrahim, Shinde said that India's most wanted terrorist and key accused in 1993 serial blasts in Mumbai is now staying in Pakistan.  

“Our talks with FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) is on and we are hopeful that with America's help, we will get him back in India soon,” he said.
