I.N.D.I.A bloc Maharally: 'We have to decide whether we want democracy or dictatorship,' says Kharge

Jharkhand CM Champai Soren attacked the Modi government saying it did not like the upliftment of the backwards classes and communities that Hemant Soren did in Jharkhand. 

Addressing the INDIA alliance rally at Ramlila Maidan, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge attacked the government, saying this is the time to decide whether we want democracy or dictatorship.

"You have to decide if you want democracy or dictatorship... Those who support dictatorship need to be kicked out of the country... BJP and RSS are like poison. You will die even if you taste poison..," he added.

At the Maha Rally at the Ramlila Maidan, Punjab CM and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann attacked the BJP saying it can arrest Arvind Kejriwal, but not his ideology.

"In which jail will you send the lakhs of Kejriwals that are born in India. Arvind Kejriwal is not a person, Arvind Kejriwal is the name of an ideology... Today, the I.N.D.I.A  bloc is together. But they don't want us to be together..," he added.

During the I.N.D.I.A rally at Ramlila Maidan, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said If you do not vote with full force, their match-fixing will succeed; if that succeeds, the Constitution will be destroyed.

Rahul Gandhi attacked the government, saying Congress biggest opposition party, all its accounts frozen; what kind of election is this? 

Rahul Gandhi, while addressing the I.N.D.I.A bloc rally at Ramlila Maidan, said without EVMs, match-fixing, social media, and pressurising the press, they cannot win more than 180 seats.

INDIA alliance rally: NCP-SCP chief Sharad Pawar said the government (central government) has arrested the Delhi CM, Jharkhand CM and also put many other leaders from different states in jail and this action is an attack on democracy and the Constitution.

It is our responsibility to save it, he added.

At the Maha Rally at the Ramlila Maidan, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav attacked the BJP asking if they were confident of winning 400 seats, then why have they sent CMs to jail.

"These people are giving the slogan of '400 Paar'. If you are going to win more than 400 seats, then why are you scared of the AAP leader... You have sent elected CMs to jail, not just the Indians but the whole world is criticising it... The BJP claims to be the biggest political party in the world, but it is the biggest liar party in the universe... If they have to use ED, CBI and IT to stay in power, then they are not going to win 400 but lose 400... The BJP has raised the highest amount of funds using ED and CBI," he added.

Rahul Gandhi addressed I.N.D.I.A bloc Maharally said the match is being fixed by threatening umpire. "Umpire is picked by PM Modi. Two players were arrested by the Narendra Modi," said Gandhi.

All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) is very much was, is and will be part of the INDIA alliance, said TMC MP Derek O'Brien at Ramlila maidan.

At the Maharally at the Ramlila Maidan, former Bihar Deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said the ED, CBI and IT are working like the cells of the BJP.

"Lalu Ji has been harassed a lot of times. There have been cases against me. My mother, my sisters, my brother-in-law, all the relatives of my father, there were cases against everyone... Many of our leaders are being raided currently. ED, IT raids are behind us, but we are not going to be scared... We will struggle. Only lions are caged. All of us are lions...We are fighting for you," he added.

Congress parliamentary party chairperson Sonia Gandhi spoke to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal at the I.N.D.I.A bloc rally in Ramlila Maidan, Delhi.

"This government (central government) has arrested the Delhi CM, Jharkhand CM and also put many other leaders from different states in jail. This action is an attack on democracy and the Constitution...It is our responsibility to save it," he said.

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray attacked the BJP, saying the saffron party does not understand the meaning of family, one has to take responsibility of the family.

Delhi Minister and AAP leader Gopal Rai said the objective of the rally is to protest Arvind Kejriwal's arrest.

"Today's protest is happening as to why a sitting CM was arrested. Today the aim is to end the dictatorship," he said.

As the I.N.D.I.A bloc’s rally unfolded at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan today, AAP Minister Atishi highlighted the substantial turnout, emphasising the nationwide support against the arrest of Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi’s Chief Minister.

At 10 am, crowds have already amassed, with attendees representing various parts of the country. Minister Atishi underscored the widespread solidarity, stressing Kejriwal’s pivotal role in transforming the lives of Delhi’s citizens. Despite his arrest, Kejriwal remained deeply concerned about the welfare of Delhi and continues to relay messages to the public.
