There is no scientific method of calculating estimated people taking holy dip on this day. Millions of holy men and women attend the vision of devotions.A holy dip can make devotee eligible for liberation for the cycle of birth and death.Astrologers believes that the water of holy river 'Ganga' attain nectar (Amrit) like properties during the Kumbh Mela season which helps to clean the devotee from inside.There are 12 Jyotirlinga, out of this Trimbakeshwar is the most important place. The celeberation takes place at the origin of river Godaveri.
