Aligarh, July 25 : It was a strange sight for children bathing in a canal on Sunday, when they found hundreds of school text books floating in the water near Gabhana village.
The text books appeared to be new, and meant for free distribution among school students or primary classes.
Villagers informed the Aligarh Basic Education Officer S K Verma, who said, that the textbooks did not belong to his district, but to a neighbouring district.
Police are trying to find out the cause behind this act.
