New Delhi: It was a hot and humid morning here on Tuesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
The Met Office has forecast light rainfall and thunderstorms in some areas of the city.
"The sky will be partly cloudy in the day," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 36 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 79 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature settled at 32 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average, while the minimum settled four notches below the season's average at 23.3 degrees Celsius.
