New Delhi: Delhiites woke up to a hot and humid morning with humidity levels oscillating between 61 to 87 per cent.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal, while the maximum is expected to settle at 35 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.
However, according to the weatherman, very light rain in some areas could bring respite for the people from this muggy weather.
"There will be a partly cloudy sky and very light rain/thundershowers may occur in some areas," the MeT department said.
The national capital yesterday witnessed an "unusual pattern" of rains with areas under most observatories remaining dry while light to sporadic showers being reported in some other parts of Delhi.
The maximum temperature settled at 35.2 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal while the minimum was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius yesterday.
