Amritsar, Apr 6: Heroin weighing 9 kilograms was seized by the Border Security Force on Friday from a village near the Indo-Pak border here.
The contraband, estimated to be around Rs 45 crore in the black market, was recovered from a plastic pipe this morning in Rajatal village near the Attari border, a BSF official said.
During routine patrolling last night, the team had observed some suspected movement along the border area after which the search operation was launched this morning, he said.
No arrest into the case has been made so far, the official added.
