In one of the biggest seizures, the Delhi Police Special Cell on Wednesday seized a container having 22 tonnes approx of Licorice coated with Heroin at Nava Sheva Port in Mumbai worth Rs 1,725 Crores in the international market.
According to reports, recently, the Special Cell had arrested two Afghan citizens with heroin worth Rs 1200 crore. During the interrogation, they revealed that a container was kept at Nava Sheva Port in Mumbai in which 345 kg of drug was kept.
After this, the team of the Special Cell reached Nava Sheva Port in Mumbai and during the search seized a container. The team of Special Cell has brought the container from Mumbai to Delhi. The special cell team is also investigating on narco terror angle.
