Chandigarh: Haryana chief minister Bhupender Hooda has ordered a CBI probe against senior bureaucrat Ashok Khemka, known best for challenging the land dealings of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law, Robert Vadra.
The Haryana government has accused Khemka of failing his responsibilities at HSDC by being unable to sell enough seeds.
The 1991 batch IAS officer has been a target of Haryana government after he cancelled mutation of land deal between UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra and realty giant DLF in 2012.
Earlier the government had issued a chargesheet against Khemka for “wrongly” cancelling the mutation.
