Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Tuesday said that if the lockdown is lifted after April 14, it will be done in phases. "We will follow Central Govt directives regarding the lockdown. As the disease is increasing day by day, we cannot say anything now on ending or continuing lockdown," he was quoted as saying by news agency ANI.

Haryana on Tuesday reported 23 cases of coronavirus patients, out of them 22 were Tablighi Jamaat members and one was a health worker, state Health Minister Anil Vij said.

With the addition of the new positive patients, the total number of cases in the state rose to 119. They comprised 79 Jamaat members, who returned from the congregation in Delhi's Nizamuddin Markaz in March.

Out of the 23 latest cases, 16 were reported from Muslim-dominated Nuh and the remaining from Faridabad, both located in the National Capital Region (NCR).

According to the state's medical bulletin, out of 119 confirmed cases, six were from Sri Lanka and one each from Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia and South Africa.

Forty-five patients were from other states -- 11 from Uttar Pradesh, seven Bihar, six Tamil Nadu, five Kerala, four West Bengal, three each from Maharashtra and Jammu and Kashmir, two Telangana and one each from Punjab, Karnataka, Chennai and Assam.

While two patients died, 15 have been discharged so far.
