Munger (Bihar): A hardcore Maoist cadre was arrested yesterday from Jatkutiya village under Dharhara police station area of Bihar's Naxal-hit Munger district, a police officer said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police raided the village and arrested Pramod Koda, who is a resident of Jatkutiya village, Superintendent of Police Navin Chandra Jha said.

He said that arrested ultra was involved in several Maoist attacks including murder of a chowkidar in Dharhara police station in 2000.
