Gujarat's Balasinor is India's Jurassic Park

New Delhi : The world's second biggest dinosaur excavation site is in Balasinor, also referred to as Vadasinor,  a town located in Kheda district of Gujarat.  Formerly a princely state of the Babi (Yusufzai Pathan)

These fossilised dinosaur remains have triggered what Gujarat Tourism officials  call “Dinosaur Tourism”.

Even today, dinosaur fossils could be found lying on the ground.

In fact, Balasinor is the only place in the world where you can actually touch a 600 millions years old dinosaur egg.

Gujarat government is developing a Jurassic Park in Balasinor that will feature lifesize models of the dinosaurs.
