Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday assured a delegation of Sikhs that the government will trace the mischievous elements involved in writing anonymous letters asking Sikhs to embrace Islam or leave the Kashmir Valley.
He gave the assurance when a delegation of Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee of Srinagar met him.
The Chief Minister told the delegation that people of the Valley have "always withstood all onslaughts by "mischievous forces who made attempts to drive a wedge between different communities" and the letters written by one or two mischievous persons should not be construed as the voice of the majority.
