Motihari: A major fire broke out today in a transport company godown in a locality in Raxaul town near the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's East Champaran district, a police office said.





The fire broke out in the godown of a private transport company TCI gutting consignment of cloth, petroleum
products, motor parts, etc, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Jitendra Pandey said.

Six fire tenders, including two from Nepal, were pressed into service to douse the flames, he said adding there was no casualty or injury to any one in the blaze.  The cause of the fire was under investigation, Pandey said.
