Fresh ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu district

Jammu: Pakistan Rangers resorted to unprovoked shelling at a Border Security Force (BSF) post along the international border in the Jammu district on Friday.

A police officer said that shelling and firing started at 2.10 am.

"Pakistan Rangers started unprovoked shelling and firing at Tube Well 5 border outpost of the BSF today (Friday) in RS Pura sector," the officer said.

"BSF is effectively retaliating. Firing exchanges are still on in the area," the officer added.
