The Coast Guard also requested DG Shipping to mobilize emergency towing vessel SCI Pawan which arrived at the scene last evening.
Coast Guard ships Sankalp and Samrt also reached to scene to augment firefighting efforts to prevent it from spreading from the midship portion to other parts.
Two Indian Navy vessels, two Mumbai Port Trust firefighting tugs and five ONGC tugs have also reached the scene to extinguish the fire.
