Chand Minar
Situated in Daulatabad, Maharashtra, Chand Minar was built by Sultan Al-ud-din Bahamani in 1435.
The Iranian style minar, Chand Minar is a perfect example of Persian architecture in India.
Standing with a height of 110 ft, Chand Minar is one of the tallest minar of India.
Covered with the Persian blue tiles, Chand Minar has 24 arched chambers and a small mosque at its base.
It has 4 floors with helical stairs inside with 80 steps for every floor & 6 ventilator windows along with a circular balcony is present after every floor.
The minar is colored brick-red now, & can be seen from large distances, standing like a sleepless sentinel in front of the pyramidal hill with the Daulatabad fort on its top.
