Families of martyred CRPF jawans in gloom, as Omar misses wreath-laying ceremony

Srinagar/Jalaun/Mandya/Hazaribagh, Mar 14 : The families of all the five martyred jawans of Central Reserve Police Force are in gloom over the death of their sons in the Srinagar shootout, even as Jammu and Kashmir





The family of Constable Om Prakash Singh Mardaniya, hailing from Shahpura village, PO- Jamunia Fatehpura, PS-Echawar, Sihore (Madhya Pradesh) is also in gloom. Om Prakash has seven sisters and two children. The entire family is in a state of shock, awaiting the coffin that would carry his body.


The family of Constable Satheesh from Village Almabadi, Tehsil- K R Pet, Mandya, Karnataka is in grief. The 23 year old jawan died to a hail of bullets from the fidayeen militants. Two months ago, he had come home for leave, and had rejoined duty two weeks ago, said his family.  Satheesh had rung up his family yesterday morning, a few hours before his death.
