Srinagar/Jalaun/Mandya/Hazaribagh, Mar 14 : The families of all the five martyred jawans of Central Reserve Police Force are in gloom over the death of their sons in the Srinagar shootout, even as Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah missed the wreath-laying ceremony for the martyrs in Srinagar.
The chief minister today made a last-ditch rush to Srinagar airport to pay his tributes, before the coffins were sent by an Air India plane to Delhi.
India TV reporters met the families of all the five martyred CRPF jawans in their hometowns, places as far away as Hazaribagh(Jharkhand), Jalaun (UP), Sehore (MP), Mandya (Karnataka) and Madurai (Tamil Nadu).
