Hyderabad: The Teachers' Association of English and Foreign Languages University here has resisted the proposed transfer policy, a first-ever move by the administration to transfer them out of the varsity's Hyderabad campus. .
The association said the policy was framed without involving the stakeholders and its implications on the university's future.
The transfer policy makes it mandatory for teachers in Hyderabad to work in Shillong or in Lucknow.
A total of 120 faculty members of the campus have refused to follow the transfer orders and have threatened to go on strike if the policy is not withdrawn.
