An earthquake of magnitude 2.3 on the Richter scale was recorded in Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district on Thursday. The quake was reported at 3.36 pm with its epicentre at a depth of 24km SSW of Dharamshala, according to the National Centre of Seismology (NCS).
The depth of the moderate-intensity quake was 6 km.
So far, no reports of any damage have surfaced.
