An earthquake measuring 4.0 on the Richter scale was felt in Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake tremors were felt 20 kms east-southeast of Diglipur at 3:00 am today.
There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to property due to the earthquake.
