A Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) official has tested positive for coronavirus after which the fifth floor of the DRDO headquarters in New Delhi has been sealed.
As per reports, 90 per cent of the staff has been advised to go home until further instructions.
Earlier, reports emerged of 20 Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) employees also testing COVID-19 positive in the national capital.
Senior AAP leader and Patel Nagar MLA Rajkumar Anand also tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.
Coronavirus cases in Delhi have topped 25,000 while the death toll has reached 650. On Friday, Delhi police were given instructions to fine anyone who is seen on streets without wearing a mask.
In anyone is caught on the streets not wearing a mask, the police now has the power to challan them for Rs 500.
