New Delhi: Scores of Delhi radio cab operators today staged a protest outside chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence in Kaushambi and demanded removal of restrictions on their movement.
"We have not been given pre-paid centres, we cannot enter airport, and our services are highly restricted", said one of the operators.
A radio cab operator said, "call centres were promised, but they have not been installed yet, and there is no work for us."
"We are ready if the government takes away our radio cabs and gives us autos to operate", said Vijay Kumar, a radio cab operator.
They however praised Kejriwal saying "we have always wanted him to become the chief minister. All the earlier leaders helped us in no way."
The operators also demanded that the road tax must be the same as for other taxi services.
