New Delhi: Delhi Metro will start its services 4.30 a.m. onwards Friday, a Metro official said Thursday.
On other days, the Metro services start at 6 a.m.
"The Metro services will start from 4.30 a.m. to facilitate movement on Independence Day," a Metro official told IANS.
He said parking of vehicles will be prohibited at Metro stations till 2 p.m. Friday.
"All other services, including the Airport Express line, will function as per their normal timings," he said.
This announcement will be appreciated by the Delhiites as Delhi Metro has been working as a life line for the people of Delhi.
