New Delhi: Delhiites continued to sweat it out under humid conditions today as rains evaded the city.
According to the MeT department, day temperature in the capital settled at 34 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal.
Though today's maximum was 1.5 degrees less than that of yesterday, high humidity caused discomfort to the people.
Humidity in the air oscillated between 61 and 81 per cent during the day, the weatherman said.
The minimum temperature was registered a notch higher than normal at 27.5 degrees. The city witnessed a cloudy sky but no rainfall was recorded.
"It will be generally cloudy and thundery conditions may occur in some areas of the city tomorrow. The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to be around 34 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively," according to a MeT forecast.
